We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Commercial Manager & Sales Lead to join our Business Development department in Waterfall City, South Africa. This pivotal senior role is instrumental in shaping our commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence. The successful candidate will be a key leader, responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and guiding our sales initiatives to achieve ambitious targets. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage annual software and managed service renewals across Africa, Europe, and partner channels, ensuring revenue retention and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, technology vendors, and strategic partners, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.
- Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models, margin analyses, presentations, and renewal documentation.
- Manage the end-to-end sales administration process, including quotations, invoices, delivery notes, contract documentation, and software licensing.
- Develop annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and executive reports to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain Power BI dashboards and commercial reporting for executive and board-level meetings.
- Oversee software inventory management, royalty reporting, and vendor compliance processes.
- Coordinate customer due diligence processes and support contractual, procurement, and compliance requirements.
- Manage strategic technology partnerships and drive partner engagement, pipeline development, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Lead customer implementation and service delivery coordination, ensuring successful onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Prepare executive presentations, meeting agendas, and commercial updates for leadership and Exco meetings.
- Support new business opportunities through solution positioning, customer presentations, and partner collaboration.
- Architect complex commercial strategies for technology solutions and platforms.
- Lead the full sales cycle for strategic, high-value enterprise accounts.
- Drive market penetration and revenue growth for new SaaS offerings.
- Develop and execute robust sales pipeline management processes.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and licensing agreements with key clients.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and competitive threats within the tech sector.
