We are seeking a mid-level Revit Draftsperson to join our dynamic engineering team in Pretoria, South Africa. This pivotal role is crucial for translating complex engineering designs into precise, detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Revit. The successful candidate will play an integral part in the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all documentation, thereby directly contributing to the successful execution of our diverse portfolio of projects. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our high standards of technical output and project delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Revit models for structural elements (reinforced concrete, structural steel) and civil infrastructure (bulk earthworks, platforms, and drainage).
• Generate comprehensive 2D execution drawings, including sections, elevations, schedules, and reinforcement details (rebar detailing) from 3D models.
• Ensure all models adhere to BIM standards and project-specific execution plans. Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines (Architectural, MEP) to resolve spatial conflicts.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of Revit families, templates, and standard CAD/BIM procedures.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with the engineering team to ensure design intent is accurately captured and technical challenges are resolved efficiently.
• Conduct thorough self-checks of drawings for accuracy, presentation, and compliance with local building codes and industry standards.
